Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will be responsible for managing and leading the sites workshop and multi-disciplined engineering teams. A key requirement is to increase the customer base in line with company objectives.


Main Responsibilities



  • Maintain contact with and maximise revenue from existing customers.

  • Gain incremental business from new and existing customer base.

  • Responsible for the cost effective utilisation of people and material resource in order to support current and forecast levels of business.

  • Manage the financial budgets and KPI's

  • Analyse and report on sales, operational downtime and KPI's

  • Assist in the resolution of queries relating to debts, and with cash collection.

  • Manage the multi-disciplined Engineering team ensuring that they are working effectively and efficiently within Health & Safety guidelines.

  • Evaluate individual's performance and identify training requirements for all employees.

  • Ensure that all employees are aware of the company safety policy and that safe working procedures are practised at all times; also responsible for disciplinary matters and accident report procedures.

  • Manage site maintenance, repairs and statutory Inspections in line with HSQE requirements.

  • Provide technical support to customers and employees where needed.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Required Experience

  • Qualified to HNC/HND level (Mechanical or Electrical)

  • Experience of motors, rewind and compressors an advantage

  • Minimum of three years' people Management experience

  • Demonstrable skills in Microsoft Office.
