An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Events Officer to join a large and busy hotel based closed to Sheffield City Centre.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing the booking and running of varied events including weddings, conferences and dinners within a hotel environment.

Outstanding customer service and communication skills are essential, and the successful candidate will thrive in a busy and fast paced working environment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to event enquires, providing quotations and managing the enquiry through to booking and event delivery

  • Working closely with all other hotel departments to ensure smooth planning and running of all events

  • Develop and maintain close relationships with all customers and clients who book their events

  • Ensure event execution is seamless and deal efficiently and swiftly with any issues which may arise

  • Provide outstanding customer service at all times, consistently striving to exceed customer expectations

  • General events administration, ensuring contracts and paperwork are completed and databases are kept up to date with event and customer booking details
