Adecco are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of North Wales Police for an Evidence Assessor to join their team.


The purpose of the role is to assess and evaluate evidence and make decisions in connection with the enforcement of Road Traffic matters and decide on the most suitable outcome.



Salary: £13.92


Hours: Monday to Friday, office hours


Duration: Temporary contract until April 2023


Location: Hybrid working - office based in St Asaph



Key Responsabilities:



  • To monitor and assess files submitted to the team and to make appropriate decision.

  • To be the point of contact regarding Fatal Collision files which includes liaising with Family Liaison Officers, Management, Solicitors, and the Coroner's Office.

  • Review all available prosecution case file evidence fairly and impartially before making an objective assessment.

  • To make decisions on Police Collisions which occur whilst police officers/police staff are on duty.



Key Skills:



  • Possess full UK driving licence

  • Relevant experience working within Criminal Justice Systems environment

  • Knowledge of Police evidence and file preparation, to enable decision making to direct enquiries, excellent knowledge of the law and case law
