Duties and Responsibilities

Administration of Examination Registration and Results

1. Assist the Examinations Officer to ensure all examinations are organised and invigilated at all levels and in the regions in accordance with relevant awarding body's operating procedures.

2. Process the examination bookings for levels 1-3 in a timely manner. By taking examination fees, issuing receipts and collate entries for examination re-sits.

3. Prepare exam order in readiness for examination(s).

4. To assist with the external examinations, including registration, invigilation and other exam duties as required throughout the academic year.

5. Ensure all examination materials have been prepared in readiness for the dispatch to the external venues.

6. To assist with the arrangements of the exam rooms for internal and external examinations.

7. To collate and deliver all examination papers to the awarding body, upon completion of examinations.

8. Ensure that examination papers and other examination materials and stationery are kept secure.

9. To assist with the distribution of examination results and certificates in accordance with the awarding body's operating procedures and comply with GDPR, and other relevant legislation's.

10. Respond to queries arising from students regarding results.

11. Maintain and update student records.

12. To apply to the awarding body for special consideration and post results services for students following each examination series.

Customer Service

1. Communicating courteously with customers by telephone, email, letter and face-to-face.

2. Respond to queries from the School Exams mailbox.

3. Listen to customers and identify and assess customer's needs to achieve satisfaction.

4. Promote courses to students and drop-in customers.

5. Work with the Examinations Officer to ensure excellent customer service is being delivered.

6. Ensure all comments and suggestions from customers are recorded and fed into the relevant planning and Lessons Learnt internal document.

Other Duties

1. Saturday's and evening presence for scheduled examinations.

2. Responsible for stationary ensuring that there the supplies are kept up to date i.e. envelopes, pencils.

3. Participate as required in trade fairs and other promotional opportunities

4. Undertake other tasks as directed.

  • Meticulous attention to detail and keen on continual improvement.

````* Polite and courteous and tactful in difficult situations.

````* Ability to work Saturdays and evening (If required).
