Our Higher Education client is currently recruiting for an Interim Executive Assistant to Head of School, pay £19.88ph- £22.42ph, start ASAP, duration 3 months, the client is recruiting for this role as MAT cover and has the potential to be a long term role, the role will be based primarily remotely, from September, on a minimum of 60% on site.


The successful candidate must have demonstrated prior working experience of providing executive-level support to senior leadership, ideally someone with experience of undertaking this within a Higher Education setting. We need someone who is a consummate professional, extremely well organised and proactive - effectively thinking ahead regarding the diary, whereabouts and many area of business commitment.


The candidate will also need to provide the secretariat for relevant committees chaired by The Head of School, including the School Executive. As such, appropriate minute taking skills and a high degree of proficiency with Microsoft packages is essential. Lastly the Head of School office handles many confidential and sensitive matters so any candidate must demonstrate the ability to maintain professional discretion and standards.


Responsibilities;



  • Diary management

  • Travel arrangement

  • Dealing efficiently with communications and correspondence

  • Maintain record systems to facilitate information retrieval and manipulation

  • Process and manage expenditure against the Head of School's budgets.

  • The post will act as a Secretary for School committees, and other groups as required, and work closely with the School Leadership to foster a stimulating, innovative and inclusive cultural environment across the School.
