Adecco Cramlington are delighted to support their client in a search for a Export Control Assistant to join their business on a temporary basis with the potential to go permanent.
The job role is to support shipping, to make sure all documentation is prepared and communicated with customers to arrange timely and smooth collections.
This role is for a candidate who can multi-task and work within tight schedules in an international environment. The ideal person will have some previous experience in similar roles, in export, import or logistics. We are open to applicants who can learn quickly and gain necessary experience in new areas.
- Coordinate with stores to ensure dispatches are prepared in time for documentation to be created and collection to occur
- Produce and check Commercial Invoices, packing lists as required. Raising export documentation to include certificates of origin and insurance.
- Ensure all paperwork is completed to the highest standards and with no errors that can delay shipments
- Working closely with our logistics providers and customers to ensure deliveries are collected promptly following production completion
- Receive, monitor and process daily shipments and ensure the correct regulatory and required paperwork is in place for Export shipments
- Co-ordinate with Credit Control about overdue accounts
