We are looking for a Facilities Manager to be responsible for the direct management oversight of assigned commercial/residential properties.


The goal is to maximise asset value, customer satisfaction and statutory compliance of our assets.


You will be part of a small team specialised in real estate with direct report to the Property Manager and Head of Property.


Based in London (Bank District), you will be working in a mobile capacity across the sites.


Your responsibilities


In the position of Facilities Manager, you will mainly:



  • Rotate around the sites to be a visible presence to the site teams and the tenants

  • Deal with day to day site activities including coding and authorising supplier invoices in accordance with delegated authority levels

  • Source and build relationships with prospective contractors to improve value for money

  • Build relationships with on-site engineers to ensure PPM is completed correctly and facilities issues are attended to and addressed

  • Plan periodic maintenance works and ensure their execution in due time

  • Carry out regular property inspections/audits and instruct any remedial works as required to meet standards

  • Ensure Health and Safety compliance is in place across all the sites and with all suppliers

  • Manage on-site staff and contractors

  • Be the first port of call for all sites and ensure continuity of dialogue to address questions and manage tenant's expectations

  • Ensure that tenants are complying with their repairing and maintaining obligations

  • Manage and maintain a positive, productive relationship with tenants, contractors and site teams

  • Be available to work some weekends (with prior notice) and to attend incidents and emergencies


As Facilities Manager, you report to the Property Manager daily and attend the weekly Property Management meeting in the central office (CEO, Head of Property, Property Manager and Facilities Manager).



Your profile



  • Technical proven background on Real Estate

  • Customer oriented and diplomatic skills

  • Team and result oriented with strong communication skills

  • Management skills and leadership

  • Stress management and problem-solving skills

  • Transparency and adaptability are absolutely required

  • Health and Safery qualification (IOSH, NEBOSH) preferable

  • M&E qualification (BIFM standard) desirable
