Adecco are currently recruiting a Field Service Technician for our client who are one of the leading suppliers of industrial cleaning equipment on a permanent basis. You will operate from the company base and work on customer sites throughout Glasgow and the West of Scotland. A van, mobile phone, IPad and uniform will all be provided for you.


Experience in maintenance of floor cleaning machinery and preferably pressure washing equipment is essential. Ideally having knowledge of Nilfisk, Viper, Karcher, Truvox, Victor & Taski floor machines and DTE pressure washers.



You will have many responsibilities, some will include:


�Complete all jobs and repairs within contracted service level agreements. This includes follow-up calls to install additional parts, Portable Appliance Tests (PAT) and scheduled planned maintenance services


.Follow all workplace procedures correctly at all times, including Health and Safety rules and technician procedures


�Capture correct client data and make updates to jobs in "real-time"


�Provide accurate and detailed reports on every site visit


�Order parts via our central database and maintain van stock levels


�Uphold the condition of the company vehicle to an extremely high standard



Required Skills & Capabilities


�Experience in fault finding and testing electrical and mechanical systems


�Exemplary customer service, communication skills and a positive attitude


�Good level of physical fitness that will enable manual handling, such as lifting industrial battery packs etc


�Experience in the safe use of standard hand tools, electrical tools, lifting equipment and hot work equipment


�The ability to instruct and train operators on the safe use of machinery


�Able to manage time adequately and prioritise workload to an optimum level. Complete machine repairs under pressure


�Self-motivated and able to work under own initiative


�Methodical and organised with excellent attention to detail


�Good IT skills and competence in using a tablet


.Experience with electronics and mechanics, focusing on fault-finding and the use of electrical and mechanical tooling


�Full driving licence
