Adecco Chester are proudly recruiting for a Finance Assistant working within Collections department of our well-established client within the lettings industry, based in a beautiful Georgian building in Chester City Centre.

This is great opportunity for a personable professional to join an ever growing and welcoming team within a small friendly office culture - the whole team consists of 12 people.

This role would suit a confident and driven individual, someone with call centre experience would thrive in this environment.

Working within the Legal Recoveries team your day will be varied with tasks including letter writing, case handling and calling various contacts to advise the business of current cases you are working on.

Salary: £10.25ph - £11.28ph depending on experience

Working hours: The position is temporary to permanent for the right candidate, full-time, 37.5 hrs Mon-Fri, typical working hours are between 9-5.30pm

Our client is looking for a candidate who can start immediately, full training will be given.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Day to Day handling of individual cases

  • Following clear and efficient processes to enable cases to be handled

  • Responding to emails, phone calls

  • Constructing and typing letters.

  • Working towards recovering Debt

Key skills include:

  • Experience of working in an admin or customer service background

  • Some Legal knowledge/Land registry knowledge is desirable but not essential

  • Confident at using Microsoft Excel

  • Outstanding communication and inter-personal skills

  • Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Packages including Teams

  • Self-motivated and proactive team player

  • Driven and happy to work as a team to complete the end goal.
