Adecco are recruiting for a Finance Assistant to support the Purchasing and Creditors Team at the North Wales Police Shared Service Centre.

The post is for 6 months initially, with full time hours and work from home flexibility with contact days at the HQ in Colwyn Bay.

The purpose of this post is to provide admin support to the team, as well as providing excellent customer service to internal customers and suppliers.

Key skills for this role are:

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Good, confident IT skills and ability to learn new systems

  • Previous admin support experience

  • Experience working in (or alongside) a finance or accounts department

  • Excellent customer service skills

The duties of the role will include:

  • Managing finance queries to the team through phone and email enquiry

  • Use various systems to collect and interrogate finance data in order to resolve queries

  • Receive and check invoices

  • Creating purchase orders

  • Support in admin and data entry tasks

  • Working to deadlines and service level agreements

When on-site, you will have access to free parking, as well as canteen and support facilities.
