Fantastic opportunity for a full time Finance Administrator to join a very successful, well established company in Stockport that sell products world wide. The team are lovely and offer excellent training opportunities.

Ideal candidate will be motivated, reliable and able to work on own initiative, as well as have proven experience as a Finance assistant. Immediate start available for the right candidate!

Salary is £26,000 per annum

Role will report to the Financial Controller and working alongside the Senior Accounts Assistant

Key Responsibilities

  • Following up/chasing payments that have not been received

  • Processing Purchase invoices as well as maintaining the purchase ledger

  • Processing credit notes and sales invoices as well as maintaining the sales ledger

  • Allocating payments and bank receipts

  • Supplier statement and bank reconciliation

  • Handling customer queries

  • Office duties including filing and answering the phone

Key Skills required

  • Proven experience in accounts

  • Studying for the AAT qualification

  • Excellent working knowledge of with MS Office, particularly Excel

  • Ideally previous use of Sage 200

  • Strong analytic skills

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Highly organised and able to work well on own initiative and as part of a team
