Are you experienced in all aspects of a medium sized finance function? Do you know the process of an accounts payable desk inside and out? Are you looking to join an established business with a reputable name in the security industry?



Adecco Recruitment are thrilled to be working with a well-known security system supplier based in North Somerset. The company are looking for an experienced Finance Assistant to join their close-knit finance team on a permanent part-time basis. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire finance function from start to finish.

Duties include:



  • Process purchase ledger invoices via purchase order matching and receipting.

  • Monthly supplier statement reconciliation

  • Process utility bills and other overhead invoices directly to Sage.

  • Send monthly customer statements.

  • Upload sales invoices daily to confidential invoice discounting finance portal.

  • Credit control.

  • Maintain and monitor accounts/purchase ledger inbox.



What you will have:



  • Minimum of 2 years as a purchase ledger or 1 year as a finance assistant.

  • Working knowledge of Sage.

  • A can-do attitude.

  • The ability to work under little supervision.

  • An eye for detail
