Finance Assistant



An exciting opportunity has arisen to work for a company that describes its work space as "a local office, with a city feel" atmosphere. Our client is expanding their Colchester office's Finance team and are looking for a highly organised, flexible and focused individual who can hit the ground running in a Finance Assistant role.



This role will be initially working from home until the Colchester office reopens, with opportunities to travel to London in the future.

Main responsibilities:



  • Assisting the Real Estate and Projects Department with Residual Balances and reconciling client matters

  • Processing office and client account banking

  • Archiving of ledger files

  • Processing client and office account payments by BACS/CHAPS



Skills required:



  • Minimum 12 month's experience within the legal accounts department

  • Experience in residual balance reconciliation and commercial conveyancing accounting

  • Competent in Microsoft Office

  • Highly organised and able to prioritise workload

  • Flexible and willing to learn new skills

Monday to Friday - 9am- 5.30pm (Flexible)

Salary - from £22,000 - £24,000 dependant on experience
