Finance Manager


My client, a new emerging engineering company, based in Wales. They are currently looking for an integral member to head their Finance Team with knowledge of key business as well. Their main responsibilities will include all aspects of finance operations, financial analysis and planning, balance sheet reconciliations, general adhoc duties as well as the possibility of introducing new innovative ways to improve financial procedures in line with business and financial strategy to ensure growth and development.


The ideal candidate will have:



  • Innovative managerial skills

  • Time management and organisation skills

  • Advanced Excel knowledge

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise

  • Analytical, research and attention to detail is vital

  • Great interpersonal skills

  • Understanding of data protection and high confidentiality standards


Main Responsibilities:



  • Innovative methods of financial recording

  • Forecasting and monitoring of financial data

  • Preparation of budgeting as a company and individual financial project management (working closely with project managers for assessment of budgets and forecasting)

  • Organisation of internal auditing

  • Month end and year end procedures

  • Knowledge, understanding and keeping up to date with all financial regulations and laws (Knowledge of any changes with Brexit legislation is advantageous)

  • Monitoring, recording and reporting on Financial discrepancies

  • Ensuring developing and nurturing of relationships with external contacts which impact the business.

  • Monitoring cash flow

  • Providing forecasts on the financial integrity of the business to the Directors.
