This is an exciting opportunity to join our client as a Finance Manager in the area of Ealing


Start date: ASAP
Hours: 35 hours Mon to Fri (09:00:AM - 05:00:PM)
Salary: £18.63 PAYE
3 Months


This postion is to work together with the Central Systems and Finance Manager who is responsible for the HRA Annual Rents Budget, monthly monitoring and reporting.

ESSENTIALS
-Practical experience of preparing the Housing Revenue Account (HRA) Budget & 5-year Medium Term Financial Summary and the supporting
Cabinet/ Committee report.

-Experience in housing fnance, preparation of annual budgets for housing (rents, service charges, repairs, capital and various analysis and projections that support the process.
Currrent knowledge of housing legislation and housing finance in relation to rents, repairs and capital.
Experience with preparation of reconciliations between the Finance Ledger and the Housing System transactions.
Experience with preparation of reconciliations between income received from externally managed properties and the housing data.
Analytical review of rents billed and voids.
Experience of budget monitoring and variance analysis within Housing Rents.

You will also assist in the preparation of year end files for audit and the preparation of workings and analysis to assist the budget setting process.

You will have strong advanced excel skills and have thorough and good attention to details. You will have experience of managing and prioritising time and tasks effectively, identifying steps needed to accomplish your tasks. Being able to take you own initiative, act with confidence and able to work with minimum supervision.
