Due to an internal promotion a new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Finance Manager to join an award-winning Manufacturing business in Worksop.

The successful candidate will have previous in a Management Accountant/Finance Manager position, ideally within the Manufacturing sector, and will be newly or part qualified (CIMA/ACA/ACCA).

As a strong people manager, the successful candidate will lead and manage the established finance team through a period of change and will demonstrate a desire and passion for enhancing and improving processes.

As well as overseeing the day to day running of the finance department, this key role will include the responsibility for completing the monthly management accounts and supporting analysis.

Key duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Provide information for the preparation of group monthly management accounts and provide supporting interpretation and qualitative analysis for the finance department.

  • Assist with the monitoring of stock levels and period end stock reports and reconciliations at multiple locations.

  • Maintain asset register and track new Capex spend.

  • Review balance sheet reconciliations

  • Systems master data setup, review & maintenance

  • Cash flow management and Payment approvals - multiple currencies

  • Detailed costings for new product development and commercial opportunities

  • Liaise with Auditors and provide year-end audit information.

  • Experience of mid-range ERP systems and data extractions

  • Assist with project work as required.

This is a full time, permanent position working Monday to Friday 08:30am - 16:30pm
