The Finance Manager will have responsibility for the overseeing of all financial procedures.

The Finance Manager will have delegate responsibility to formulate strategic and long term business plans

The Finance Manager will have delegated responsibility for certain aspects of Project Management

The Finance Manager will assist in identifying and pursuing funding opportunities.


� Experience in a managerial financial position in an office environment.

� Experience budgetary control.

� A sound working knowledge of SAGE LINE 50 including payroll.

� Ability to work on own initiative

� To possess an attention to detail

� Computer literate with typing skills.

� Ability to work flexibly and effectively as part of the management team

� Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.

� Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used

� Possess a working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations


� To manage the preparation of the budget

� To oversee the Finance Administrators financial systems.

� To develop and maintain financial policies and practices.

� To take a lead role in Finance Sub Committee alongside the Finance Administrator

� To structure reports and presentations

� To manage the leases

� To identify cost reduction opportunities

� Support the CEO in funding applications.

� Inform the CEO of any suspected financial improprieties

� To present monthly finance reports to Board of Trustees /Finance sub committee meetings.

� To ensure all financial documentation is archived appropriately

� Ensure adequate funds are available to staff as and when required

� To ensure monthly returns are completed for funders by the Finance Administrator.

� Maintain the security of the monies kept on the premises.

� Liaise with suppliers and contractors.

� Ensure that all systems in place are shared with the management team.

� Any other duties deemed relevant to this post.
