My client is currently recruiting for an experienced Finance Operations Assistant to join their fabulous team based in Liverpool City Centre. This is a fast pace, demanding role so it is important that you can manage your own work load, use own initiative and have Strong accuracy skills.


This is a temporary position for 3 months but could be potentially turn permanent for the right person.


Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30am- 4:30pm (flexible)


Main Responsibilities:



  • Maintain log of accounts payable invoices and queries.

  • Verify that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures.

  • Ensure that invoices are approved in line with the authorisation limits.

  • Ensure that invoices are processed accurately and on a timely basis.

  • Ensure that invoices and relevant documentation are filed and attached to the relevant transactions.

  • Processes the maintenance term service contract ensuring reconciliation between the maintenance and financial systems.

  • Process sales invoices in accordance with the property schedules

  • Provide an important first point of contact to suppliers, dealing with all initial queries.

  • Support the team in relation to cash transactions.

  • Provide support to the management accounts team with month end accruals and reporting.

  • Organise own work to provide a timely and quality service.

  • Ensure filing, record updating, routine returns take place on a regular basis

  • Ensure queries are properly and promptly processed and refer any potential problems to senior staff.

  • Perform the day-to-day processing of accounts payable transactions to ensure that finances are maintained in an effective, accurate manner
