JOB TITLE: Finance System Analyst
LOCATION: Remote working, office work to be reviewed in Sept, based in Wandsworth
PAY RATE: £ 17.87 hourly PAYE
START DATE: ASAP
DURATION: 3 month rolling contract
IR35 STATUS: Inside



The Role:


The role is the support financial data and recording the Adult social care department. It is in two parts (as below) and has responsibility for the management of 2 members of staff.
* Managing, overseeing and authorising the work of the staff who purchase all social care services on the Mosaic social care system.
* Working alongside the senior finance analyst, supporting implementation plans for financial changes on the Mosaic social care system



Duties and responsibilities:



  • Working under the direction of the Finance Business Analyst to develop and implement the Mosaic Finance system (or relevant IT application) working in collaboration with Finance, Performance, Commissioning and Operational teams.

  • To be responsible for documenting all business processes relating to finance on Mosaic, making recommendations for improvements to ensure that processes across the operational teams and finance are streamlined, seamless and user-friendly and ensuring compliance with all financial and audit requirements.

  • Assist with the set up and maintenance of all financial information on the Mosaic system, or relevant IT application, which includes (but not limited to) rates, suppliers, service structures, payments, and billing cycles.



Candidate Criteria:



  • Experience of working with client level data.
    * Meticulous attention to detail with understanding of importance of data quality.
    * Experience of managing staff (x 2 reports)
    * Experience of setting up tracking systems.
    * Ability to identify process improvements.
    * Experience of delivery to a plan.
