Job Description


Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Financial Planning Analyst to join a prestigious automotive services company who continue to thrive and grow. Our client is looking for a candidate that is able to challenge constructively, assimilate information and make decisions quickly and has excellent relationship management and influencing skills.

Role purpose



  • To work with the Finance Business Partner to drive the financial performance of Roadside Operations

  • Drive the provision of full and accurate financial information, support, guidance, insight and challenge.

  • Support and flexibility across all Operations sectors as priorities require


Duties:



  • Commercial understanding of Patrols, Recovery Team, Mercedes Dedicated Patrols, Commercial Training, ROI and Inspections

  • Costs, optimisation and key drivers

  • Revenues and key drivers

  • Business case support

  • Understand the Group Strategy and Three-Year Plan and the specific short- and medium-term targets you are involved in influencing

  • Cost optimisation and savings initiatives

  • Revenue growth

  • Support the business area in developing annual budgets and forecasting

  • Costs (incl capex), fte, revenue, balance sheet & cash flow, supported by key cost drivers and operational kpis

  • Producing monthly rolling re-forecasts

  • Effective and efficient accounting, producing timely and accurate numbers

  • Understanding of accounting policies, chart of accounts and how numbers will be produced

  • Produce cost (incl capex), revenue, balance sheet & cash flow (incl cost allocation model)

  • Understand and simplify processes

  • Checking and challenging numbers

  • Understand tax treatments

  • Ensure financial controls operate effectivel

  • Performing reconciliations, supporting them with operational activity

  • Timely, accurate month end cut off



Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications



  • Qualified Accountant

  • Financial Modelling skills

  • Strong Analytical skills

  • Excellent organisational skills
