Financial Services Support Officer

Hybrid office and home (Office maximum 1 day per week currently) - BN21

£10.81 PH PAYE

4 Months

Purpose of the Role:

To be adaptable and provide support across Financial Services, including dealing general administration duties, including maintaining databases and production of reports across the department. Provide support relating to activities carried out by the department.

Key tasks:

1. To be adaptable and work across the department in a number of areas.
2. To deal with inbound and outbound communication relating to work completed by the department, including telephone conversations with customers, email and letter.
3. To provide advice and guidance to the general public and external colleagues on services provided by the department
4. To process work received by the department ensuring completeness of information, in accordance with legislation and client policy.
5. To generate regular reports on behalf of the department and process as required.
6. Maintain accurate records of all interactions regarding clients in the appropriate database.
7. Provide administration support as necessary including minute taking.
To complete all tasks that falls under the remit of the post in a timely, efficient and effective manner.
8. To undertake any other such duties as may reasonably be required.
9. Ensure the confidentiality of information held electronically or on paper is on accordance with departmental policy, the requirements for the Data Protection laws and Caldicott principles and other relevant legislation
10. To provide support to new members of staff through our 'buddy' scheme.
11. To participate in team meetings, supervision and training as required, including full participation in the Personal Development System (PDS).

Excellent communication verbal and written, Attention to detail and customer service skills over the phone
