Adecco have an exciting role on for a Fire & Security Officer for one of our key clients in North Ayrshire



Your role will be to manage the day to day fire management and security operations for the site. To ensure that site has suitable and sufficient controls and mitigations to prevent fire; and ensure the site is secure and resilient against any threats to the physical security of the site.



Qualifications/ Experience:


Qualification with Security Institute -BTEC Level 3 Security Management


Knowledge of The Fire Safety (Scotland) Regulations 2006


Experience working within security/ logistics/ defence environment


Proven ability in a supervisory role


Valid UK Driving Licence


Desirable


NEBOSH Certificate Fire & Risk Management (or equivalent)





Primary Accountabilities:



Provide active Security Leadership.


Possess the ability and experience to understand and provide effective Physical Security practices at a high hazard manufacturing facility.


Manage the Physical Security operation, managing the team of Security Officers and acting as the main interface with the Security contractor


Manage the ongoing compliance with the Security provisions set out in the Explosives Regulations 2014, as detailed within L151 'Security provisions'.


Ensure sufficient surveillance monitoring exists on the site perimeter, at strategic points across site, and inside process areas where high risk operations would benefit from CCTV monitoring and recording.
