Location : Skelmersdale WN8 9PE

Rate : 10.30

Shift pattern : 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm Monday to Saturday, rotating


Role Description

Main tasks & General Duties

� The FLT driver is responsible for completing the shifts work as allocated by the Shift/Ops leader - to include, but not exclusive, the following tasks : Loading, Unloading, Storage of product, rework of product, consolidation of part pallets, safety, quality & standards.

� The FLT driver is responsible for inspecting before use the operating area for signs of damage, FLT's, trailers, containers, finished product, pallets and necessary paperwork. The FLT driver will only perform jobs which they are trained and qualified for. Any training or re-training requests by the FLT driver should be made to the Shift/Ops leader to put onto the training wizard.

� The FLT driver should report ALL Safety and Quality issues no matter how minor that they observe - this includes damage to equipment and facilities. Safety issues should be reported to Shift/Ops Leader to add to the electronic safety book immediately they are observed. MCA's will be written by either the Operations, Safety, Shift/Ops Leader with the assistance of the FLT driver to establish the cause of the incident.

� All products will be received and despatched accurately and mirrored in RTCIS/SAP. Pallets which are within the RTCIS system will not be moved until they are scanned.

� Priority setting for customer loads, import and exports is made by the Shift/Ops Leader. The FLT driver will seek guidance from the Shift/Ops Leader if there is a conflict of priorities.

� Shipping/Receiving notes are matched to the Door number and Trailer and all notes are signed and dated by the Loader/Unloader

� System checks are made; ensure RTCIS has been logged out by previous driver.

� All work areas should be left in an orderly state.

Skills and Knowledge Required

� FLT License

� Basic understanding of Excel


� Good communication
