On behalf of our client Adecco Kendal are recruiting a Goods Inwards Person to work with there national client based in Ulverston

Hours of work will be 37.5 per week and mainly worked Monday to Friday with overtime paid for any weekend working.

We are looking for someone with past experience in a stock control role as duties will include:

  • Accepting incoming goods and compare them with the shipping document (Material number, description, quantity).

  • Checking incoming goods for visible damage, documents them and provides the information if required.

  • Takes care for correct use of transport equipment (hand-guided industrial trucks, forklift, etc.).

  • Captures relevant data in data processing systems.

  • Supports the business in peak times in defined tasks and operations, as respectively qualified worker, assistant or specialist.

  • Performs all technical operations, measures, activities and tasks as assigned by respective Service Level Agreement.

  • Cooperates and integrates effectively in overall work flow environment, and cooperates with other operations staff member.

The successful candidate will have knowledge of operating to ERP system, preferably SAP LOLER, a fork lift truck licence and a good understanding of Q-Pulse Knowledge of basic metrology equipment and its use.
