Adecco are proud to be recruiting on behalf of Cheshire Constabulary for a Programme Manager to join the team of the Police Crime & Commissioners Office on an interim basis (2-3 months).

The purpose of this role is to is to drive the implementation and maintenance of the newly developed governance strategy for the force and PCCC. You will service as a link between the PCCC and Police Force, liaising with key stakeholders to ensure ongoing compliance with the governance and scrutiny programmes that have been recently introduced. You will be managing and co-ordinating stakeholders to review and monitor compliance, offer advice and guidance on governance and policy matters, ensure monthly data is collated and analysed for monthly panels, and provide updates for public documents.

Previous public sector/local authority governance knowledge is essential, along with Project Management experience. This role requires outstanding communication skills to manage stakeholders at all levels of seniority, and attend regular panels to update the board on key findings.

This post will allow working from home, with occasional travel to Warrington and Winsford for induction, training and reviews.

Salary for this post is negotiable between £45909 - £53427.

Part time and flexible working can be considered.
