Ground Operations Controller (temp)

(based at Luton Airport, with occasional travel to Gatwick Airport)


  • Supervision of Ground Operations activity at Luton and Gatwick airports - check-in, boarding and ramp operations

  • Completing assessments, analyses, and studies on the operation at the allocated airports

  • Performing mystery inspections and turnaround checks at outstations

  • Any other tasks according to the needs of Ground Operations Department


  • Knowledge of any EU or CEE language will be an advantage

  • Ability to live and work close to the given location

  • Ability to work min. 3-4 days per week according to flexible working hours - early starts or late finishes

  • Good observation skills

  • Creative and proactive personality with "can do" approach

  • Computer skills with strong emphases on Excel and Power Point

  • Flexible approach and ability to remain diplomatic

  • A keen interest in airline ground operations and airport passenger operations

This is a temporary role for 3 months with the potential to extend and will suit people that are looking for part time work or students during holiday season.
