Our client within public sector is looking for an Interim Hard Services manager to join their Corporate and Commercial services based in Kingston Upon Thames. The role offers up to £370/day (umbrella rate/inside IR35) and the contract duration is until end of March 2020; therefore we are looking for someone who can start on 24th Feb 2020.


The Hard services / Facilities Manager will provide



  • Hard FM and statutory compliance project/programme management for revenue repairs and maintenance, capital projects (to designated properties)

  • Provide technical assurance and reporting on driving value through prioritised programmes of work.

  • Stakeholder management: end/service user, contractors including FM partner, service representative, Heads of Service.



Required Experience and Skills:



  • Facilities management background, preferably within a local authority but not essential.
    Experience in developing and managing monitoring systems for statutory compliance and maintaining accurate records and systems.

  • Demonstrable experience in dealing with statutory compliance and/or health and safety issues in a corporate landlord or similar environment.

  • Experience of working within a performance management framework to achieve agreed outcomes.

  • Experience of providing accurate compliance monitoring reports to deadline for senior managers.

  • Strong technical ability and knowledge of schools, community facilities, leisure and corporate buildings.

  • Knowledge and experience in property design, construction and whole lifecycle maintenance activities.

  • Extensive and relevant experience in a lead client-side facilities management role.

  • Demonstrable experience of the property and 'hard' facilities management of land and property assets and associated budget management.

  • Experience of the development and monitoring of schemes/plans of work
