An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Head of Operations working for our client based in central Aylesbury. The Head of Operations will be responsible for coordinating, managing and directing operations to ensure that the business meets its financial, quality and customer service targets. Part of this position will also involve providing support to the Sales & Marketing team to enable them to focus on increasing revenue within their existing client portfolio.

The main duties and responsibilities for The Head of Operations will include:

  • Leadership and coaching

  • Ensuring agreed workloads/demands are delivered

  • Delivery of company's performance planning system, including analysis and root cause identification of the bi-weekly performance management system

  • Resolution of escalated issues and complaints

  • Responsible for the scheduling and delivery of training across the business units

  • Investigating and actioning under performance including disciplinary action

  • Recruitment

  • Ensure daily, weekly, monthly workload is cascaded, communicated and actioned

  • Process improvement

  • Supporting the COO for the Companies ISO 9001 Quality Management System, Trustmark scheme operator status and any other related disciplines

  • Control Centre Process improvement implementation

  • Supporting the change management process across the business

  • Chair the weekly resource planning meeting

  • Delivery of Control Centre Metrics performance

The Head of Operations will need to have operational experience, good analytical skills, the ability to manage performance and have a positive can-do attitude. A CII certificate in Insurance would be an advantage.

This position will be 75% office based with travel to client's offices as required. There will occasionally be a need to undertake travel to other offices to support general account management and good customer relationships.
