Health and Safety Advisor - European travel required

My client has an opening for an experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join their team, you will be required to oversee a number of sites across the UK and Europe, which means that working away from home is a large part of the role so the successful candidate MUST be willing to travel.

They are ideally looking for someone with experience in the following areas:

Key Responsibilities

� Completing risk assessments and making recommendations for risk reduction.

� Outlining safe operational procedures which identify and take account of all relevant hazards.

� Developing Safe Systems of Work, in conjunction with our Client, and their ensuring implementation and cascade of them to other business units.

� Maintaining records of all incidents, accidents and near misses; making sure that any remedial actions are implemented to avoid repetition. Keeping up to date with new HSE legislation and maintain a strong working knowledge of both legislation and any industry specific developments that are relevant

The ideal candidate will have the following:

* CSCS card holder

* Expert understanding of the risk assessment process and its implementation across multiple sites.

* Good attention to detail and methodical approach to work; takes pride in their work

* Good organisational skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines.

* Good relationship building and interpersonal skills

You will be working for extended periods away from home
