Main Duties and Responsibilities-

* To ensure all current contracts comply with current health and safety legislation and/or regulations with the objective of ensuring that all reasonable and proper measures are taken to protect the safety and health of all staff and visitors.

* To review and ensure the company is compliant with all Health and Safety policies and procedures and enforcing them on site.

* Overall to increase health and safety awareness at all levels within the organisation and monitor closely health and safety compliance among sub-contractors.

* To carry out daily duties including site inductions, collecting all training records, carrying out walks of the site and the updating and recording of all safety paperwork

Competencies Required-

* Experience in Health and Safety position.

* Office duties essential.

* Will have strong PC skills including MS Outlook, MS Word, Excel and PDF converting.

* Previous ISO experience desirable but not essential.

* Can demonstrate excellent organisational skills.

* Excellent communication skills and be able to get along with clients and employees alike.

* Flexible and can deal with change.

* Work under dead line pressures when required.

* Self-motivated and with a high level of professionalism.

* The ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks at the same time.

* Be able to work efficiently in a team as well on their own.
