Health & Safety Manager


Monday to Friday


9am - 5pm


Salary - £38K per annum



We are pleased to be recruiting for a well-established production manufacturing company in East London.



Previous experience in a similar role/environment is essential.



Duties Include:



  • General responsibility and compliance of the Company's H&S, ensuring staff are aware of the importance

  • Advising staff on Health & Safety, making sure all protocols are followed

  • Conducting relevant health and safety training and risk assessments

  • Manage and maintain ISO standards

  • Conduct health and safety inspections and prepare reports and documents as required

  • Keep up to date with legislation and inform Leadership Team of any new legislation

  • Liaising with the Facilities Manager to establish contractor health & safety procedures

  • Health & Safety inspections on sites

  • Coordinating first aid representatives across all sites

  • Conducting internal audits of all sites; report on finding and manage issue logs

  • Advise management of all incidents that are reportable under R.I.D.D.O.R

  • Maintaining all H&S records



Key Skills:



  • Qualification in Occupational Health and Safety, for example: a Masters, NVQ, BSC or NEBOSH National Diploma is essential

  • Customer Service

  • Strong administrative skills

  • IT literate with a comprehensive understanding of Outlook, Word and Excel is essential

  • Previous experience with ISO standards is essential.
