We are currently looking for Health and Safety specialist to start immediately on an ongoing basis. Pay £275 per day. Hybrid working 2 days in office, 3 days from home based in Canary Wharf.

Provide workforce safety guidance and support to field operations that include site remediation, decommission, construction and operations of remediation systems, and real estate facility operations and maintenance. HSE Specialist responsibilities include execution of all facets of Control of Work, including Managing Safe Work, Contractor Operational Excellence and Safety Management (COEM), Motor Vehicle Safety (MVS), and other workforce safety programs. Provide incident investigations, safety training, safety consultation on projects, onsite Occupational Health monitoring, safeguard verifications, operating procedure verifications and Human and Organisational Performance facilitation.

Qualification & Skills

Candidate must demonstrate competency in field application of all aspects of managing safe work standards, Safe Your Life Action (SYLA), Start Work Checks (SWC), Planning Phase Hazard Analysis (PPHA), COEM field verifications, safeguard assurance, Hazard Com, incident investigations, learning teams, and HOP concepts and tools. Knowledgeable in HSE site remediation operations. Use impactful data to track performance. Knowledgeable in HSE real estate facility operations. Candidate for this position should be recognised Subject Matter Experts in at least one field of Health, Environment and/or Safety with some experience of project safety and construction). It is desirable to have demonstrated competency in all the other disciplines. Candidate must pose HES professional qualification, have good communication skills, self-initiated and require minimal supervision
