HEO Investigator

Our client is a unique law enforcement organisation which both investigates and prosecutes the most serious economic crimes. They are seeking a HEO level Investigator to join one of their teams for 8 Months.

  • Location: West End, London

  • Position: HEO Investigator

  • Pay Rate: £16.61 per hour

  • Type: Full time, 36 hours a week

  • Start Date: ASAP (pending vetting)

  • Duration: 8 Months (Until April 2020)

Due to the client involved a vetting period will be involved prior to start which will be discussed with successful candidates.

Job Description:

  • Reviewing large volumes of documentary material to identify relevant evidence and develop lines of enquiry.

  • Analysing financial data to identify relevant evidence.

  • Planning and conducting interviews of suspects and witnesses.

  • Drafting detailed witness statements.

  • Assisting in the description of unused material for disclosure purposes.

  • Completing case decision logs.

Required experience:

  • Demonstrable experience of conducting criminal investigations and knowledge of relevant legislation such as PACE 1984 and CPIA 1996.

  • Experience of reviewing large volumes of documentary and digital evidence.

  • Experience of conducting interviews of suspects and witnesses.

  • Proficient with MS Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel.

  • Willing to undergo security vetting at Security Check (SC) level.


  • Experience of investigating fraud, corruption, money laundering or other financial crimes.

  • Experience of using digital document review systems.
