My Client Based in Morecambe is looking for a passionate, dedicated HGV Class 1 (C+E) / Class 2 (C) driver to join a growing, friendly, and welcoming team at there Morecambe site.

The successful candidate will be working for an International Business who prides themselves on looking after and rewarding there staff.

You will also be responsible for deliveries and removal of quality products.

Key requirements for the HGV Driver:

  • Full LGV C+E (Class 1) or C (Class 2) licence

  • Valid Driver Qualification Card (DQC)/ Driver CPC

  • Valid Digital Tachograph Card

  • Awareness of tachograph legislation

  • Awareness and understanding of health and safety requirements

  • Due to the nature of the work applicants must be fit and hardworking

  • Excellent customer service skills, good communication, polite and punctual

  • Ability to handle furniture

  • Good geographical knowledge

  • Ability to work within guidelines given and to strict deadlines

  • Ability to work under pressure

  • Ability to actively seek solutions to problems

  • Flexibility to undertake a wide range of tasks

You can expect:

  • Uniform provided and PPE

  • 28 days paid annual holiday entitlement

  • Typically 5 nights out a week (subsistence payments)

Salary - £26000 - £33800 p.a. including regular weekly bonuses for fuel and productivity

Contract - Full time / permanent

Working pattern - Out Monday return Saturday / Out Sunday return Friday
