Our Higher Education client is currently recruiting for a temporary Assistant Administrator from mid-May to early September, pay rate of £15.21 per hour, 28 hours a week (spread over 5 days or 4 days full-time). This is an onsite working role based in South Kensington.


The post holder will provide additional administrative support to the Centre during the busy period of May to September, particularly in relation to the summer Pre-sessional courses and preparations for the new academic year. The Pre-sessional courses will be delivered online this summer and the Assistant Administrator will support this online delivery.



Duties of the role



  • Responding to Pre-sessional email enquiries

  • Downloading reports in order to update the application tracking

  • Cross checking data from the Tuition Fees team with the reports from the Admissions system

  • Sending offer, confirmation and other emails to Pre-sessional applicants

  • Preparing student lists for the course coordinators

  • Other general administrative tasks that arise.


Experience needed



  • Proven ability to work in a busy administrative post, preferably within an Higher Education setting

  • Proven ability to work with multiple systems to collate data and produce reports in Excel, and to use mail merge in Word

  • Experience of using MS 365 Teams
