HMRC Customs Administrator


Duration: 3-6 months


Location: Welwyn Garden City /Work from home


ASAP start date


Shifts - 6am - 8pm - 36hours. Overtime option.



Adecco has a new opportunity to join our retailer client based in Welwyn Garden City. They are urgently looking for strong administrative professionals with previous customs or export experience to support Supply Chain Export team through new Brexit regulations.


There will be training provided on in house systems the company is using.


Main responsibilities:



  • Support additional admin checks & governance for goods entering Northern Ireland/ROI

  • Verification of documents for all exported goods, checking if all data is correct and align with new Brexit requirements

  • Uploading documents in HMRC systems in timely manner


Requirements:



  • Previous experience with Customs & Excise or Import/Export

  • Strong administrative skills

  • Attention to details

  • Good computer skills (Microsoft Office)
