Job Details

The Job Holder is responsible for the Human Resources function, including payroll assistance and general office duties. The post holder is required to have meticulous attention to detail and HR experience.

  • Assist with new roles selection process, organise first interviews and assist with interviews. Organise second interviews as necessary. Notify unsuccessful applicants of Company's decision.

  • Prepare Contract of Employment for new employees and ensure copy of Staff Handbook provided.

  • Review current staff Contracts and up-date as necessary by way of Amendment to Contract.

  • Maintain employee files and always keep secure.

  • Check Works database weekly re absences and ensure Self-Certification forms and Return to Work Interviews have been raised and submitted to HR. Up-date the ring binders (one for Works personnel and one for Office personnel).

  • When annual absence figures have been entered on Excel spreadsheet, advise Directors and Line Managers. Monitor/note trends and take appropriate action as agreed by Directors and Line Managers.

  • Managed all member's of staff holiday and absences and investigate if needed

  • Prepare advice notes for each employee advising how many hours of annual leave they will be entitled to in the following year.

  • Up-date Employee Roll Call as necessary following employees leaving the Company or new starter

  • Acknowledge receipt of faxed orders, offer point-of-sale literature, advise customers of special offers, etc.

  • Liaise with various organisations, including charities, regarding sponsorship and support.

  • Liaise with PR Consultants regarding production and supply of promotional material, including website, etc.

  • Assist the payroll manager and help with duties

  • Assist sales team and help with duties
