HR Advisor - (Hybrid - Office / Home Working)

About you

  • Working with the HR Business Partners to provide advisory support in the areas of employee relations, recruitment, attendance and performance management for the defined business area (Warehouse Operations).

  • Partnering with managers to support and guide them with resolving issues such as sickness absence, grievance matters, conduct and capability and employment relations matters to achieve the business goals

  • Proactively build and maintain strong relationships with managers and employees to manage stakeholders in a credible and professional manner.

  • Opportunity and scope to support the wider integration activities within the business which will include reviewing and creating new HR policies and procedures and ensuring these are embedding into your business units

  • Involvement with HR strategic initiatives and projects such as supporting the new HR system implementation and company employee engagement plans and delivery

What will you also need?

  • Demonstrable experience working in HR Generalist role

  • HR Generalist experience in an international environment

  • Excellent communication skills and relationship management

  • Knowledge of process and work instruction development

  • Strong MS Office skills especially Microsoft Excel to develop and create KPIs

  • Good knowledge of systems and reporting

  • Solid knowledge of UK Employment Law

  • Ability to work to demanding deadlines and manage multiple tasks

  • Driving licence (needs to travel between sites in Derby)

  • CIPD level 5 or working towards will be highly desired
