We are looking for a HR Advisor to work until 18th December 2020. You must have experience in working as part of the People Support team to provide high quality Employee Relations (ER) and Change advice and support to Line Managers, working as part of the HR People Support team, including analysing data and insight and using this intelligence to develop solutions to drive improvement. Due to this position being short term you must have Strong ER background, Experience supporting ER Cases and be able to hit the ground running. You will be responsible for Providing consistent ER advice and guidance, via the HR People Support phone line, to Line Managers across the full spectrum of ER case management, including those relating to change, and support the Line to manage cases through to timely conclusion, using coaching skills and techniques to ensure Managers are empowered to manage individual issues

Provide advice, via email to managers and employees affected by change on the change process in line with legislation and policies and processes.

Support change programmes as required, including advising on Role Profiles, proposed amendments to structures, selection criteria and managing the redeployment process in conjunction with the HR Business Partner/Manager, HR Change Partners and HR Co-Ordinator's.

To do this role, you will have…

  • Have up to date understanding of employment legislation best practice and HR policy and procedure .

  • Experience of developing Policies and/or guidance for Line Managers and employees and ability to take initiative in identifying continuous improvement opportunities

  • Coaching capability and strong empathy/listening skills

  • Pragmatic and solutions focused

  • Strong customer focus

  • Up to date knowledge of Employment Law

  • Experience of providing ER support to Line Managers

  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to deliver training to Managers on Policies and procedures

  • Experience of providing and interpreting MI and reports

  • Experience of working as part of a project team on HR initiatives
