We are looking for an HR Advisor to join our busy on-site team. The primary function of the HR Advisor is to provide an effective, robust ER Advisory service managing our temporary associate workforce.

Location - Client site Petersfield

Permanent Role £26,000 - £29,000 per annum

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing performance and conduct issues, working to disciplinary procedures, conducting investigations, preparing documentation, and where relevant attending high level or escalated meetings.

  • Advise and support colleagues in resolving conflict issues and dealing with grievances- conducting investigations, and preparing documentation

  • Provide colleagues with advice on HR policy and procedures

  • Assist with reviewing and interpreting information to enable accurate updating of policies and procedures in line with current legislation and practice.

  • Assist with the management of incoming and outgoing TUPE consultations and information exchange.

  • Build relationships of trust within all business areas

  • Identification of business issues and trends and contributing to a strategy to train and upskill colleagues where relevant

  • Creation, ownership and maintenance of guidebooks, policies, training documentation and toolkits relating to associates

  • Administration relating to HR and ER matters

Essential Skills / Experience / Personal Attributes

  • Ideally CIPD level 3 or above

  • Able to communicate clearly and concisely at all levels and exhibit strong listening skills

  • Be self-motivated and work autonomously providing the required outputs

  • Confidently deal with conflict, expressing opinions, making sound commercial decisions and standing by the outcome whilst demonstrating empathy and

  • Identify and get to the root cause of issues quickly and effectively and solve complex problems

  • Be objective in balancing the personal needs of the individual with the needs of the client

  • Handle all issues with empathy in a fair and consistent manner

  • Be well organised with strong attention to detail

  • PC skills including Word and Excel

  • Team player and able to take direction from line manager
