Adecco are very pleased to be supporting our client based in London Luton Airport with this new and high-profile role of HR Operations Manager.


The role offers full time hours, competitive salary and scope for the role to become permanent


The HR Operations Manager is responsible for the quality and efficient HR operations and services with our client, overviewing and controlling outsourced HR services. You will responsible for maintaining and improving employee experience by providing support to the process of contracting, HR administration, taxation, calculation and payment of salaries. You will act as first point of contact for employee services matters for UK employees, and you will ensure that the HR processes are compliant with all current legislation responsible for overall improvement of these.


You will also be working closely with the Recruitment Manager to support the coordination of the recruitment and selection processes in the UK.


Responsibilities:



  • First point of contact for all related queries of UK employees

  • Manages and supports the on-boarding process for new employees, responsible for HR related induction

  • Supports the entry and exit procedure, lay-offs and terminations in line with the local regulations

  • Supports HR administration including preparing employment contracts, contract modifications and termination documents

  • Maintains employee records and personal files, including the maintenance of HR Information Systems

  • Coordinates the immigration procedure (work permits, residence permits, visas)

  • Provides high level, first class support to Management, employees and contractors in hiring, payroll, labour administration, personal taxation matters

  • Coordinates and supports overall payroll cycle by preparing and calculating payroll inputs, preparation of the salary transfers, answering all employee queries regarding salary related questions

  • Instructs and coordinates outsourced HR services

  • Prepares regular and ad-hoc HR reports

  • Helps to prepare and implements UK employee related as well as group HR policies and programs (aligned to the local legal environment)

  • Participates in group HR projects and initiatives

  • Responsible for efficient communication in HR related matters (changes, joiners, leavers, promotions) in UK

  • Continuously provides feedback to HR Regional Manager for improving ongoing processes, policies, systems in line with the local regulations.

  • Participation in recruitment projects for the client and provide technical support to the Recruitment Manager



Requirements:



  • College or University degree educated

  • Solid background in HR and/or payroll related positions

  • An in-depth knowledge and understanding of UK labour Law

  • Knowledge of local tax legislation

  • Capability to understand complex issues and procedures

  • Proven ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines

  • Efficient in complex problem solving skills

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to pay attention to details

  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills

  • Customer focused attitude

  • Good computer knowledge: MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)

  • Availability for occasional international travel
