We are currently looking for a Business Partner to work for a charity. Start asap, ideally first week of July, interviews held 16/17 June. Salary £56 to £60k dependant on experience. 12 months fixed term contract. You will be expected to attend the office based near Vauxhall, London twice a month. The rest of the time will be remote.


  • To provide proactive and innovative strategically focused solutions to business issues and lead on HR elements of the business area's change agenda.

  • To drive the HR agenda as a credible and strategic business partner, drawing on your technical and experiential know-how and insights, to help shape our org-wide HR plan

  • To partner leadership teams in the Directorate(s), providing strategically focused HR solutions that drive and enable effective achievement of business goals

  • Provide robust, commercially appropriate support and challenge through coaching techniques and provide advice on options, impact and risk.

  • Be a critical friend that probes, discusses, debates and challenges others in a group setting or in one-to-one meetings

To do this role, you will have…

  • Strong experience across a broad spectrum of HR specialisms and functions (learning and development, recruitment, reward, employee relations) and of how HR can contribute to the success of an organisation through achievement of organisational objectives.

  • Significant experience of business partnering a complex, changing and growing business area

  • Proven ability to build effective working relationship with senior leaders and offering strategic insight - ability to coach and challenge executives as appropriate

  • Detailed knowledge and experience of organisational design principles and proven ability to apply in practice. Experience of aligning design within a business and to an operating model

  • Strong experience and knowledge of working with HR legislation and case law, consultation, complex change and employment disputes.
