Adecco are delighted to support their client in a search for an HR Coordinator, the role is to support the HR Manager across the wider business. This role will involved hybrid working between site and at home - days will depending on needs of the HR Manager for working on site.


The role involves variety, and would be well suited to someone who can manage their time effectively.

The role:



  • Responsible for the collation and processing of accurate recording and effective maintenance of all types of employee records and documents



  • HR Systems administration, handling confidential and sensitive information in line with Data protection guidelines



  • Maintaining electronic and paper based employee files including filing, auditing, and report preparation



  • Providing accurate information to payroll of any amends, ensuring audit trail to support any changes is maintained and evidenced.



  • Providing accurate and timely recruitment service to internal colleagues. Liaise with recruitment agencies / consultants. Negotiate terms and ensure interviews progressed and offers made with appropriate pre-employment checks.

  • Support the induction and onboarding of newly appointed and promoted candidates.

  • Drafting contracts of employment and recording the flow of documentation in and out of the business.



  • Recording and reporting on sickness information, chasing statutory documentation and issuing standard letters, when appropriate. Arrange attendance management process and effective use of occupational health. Ensure consistency across the organisation

  • Supporting Company-wide HR projects, linked specifically to employee engagement, management development, policy development and reward and recognition.


  • Lead health advocate for Better Health at Work programme. Co-ordinate and control all campaigns and ensure effective communication.


    Creating and maintaining HR software systems, be lead on report generation and accurate data for effective use, reducing bureaucracy and improving service delivery to internal customers.





  • Provide timely and accurate advice to managers and colleagues on HR policy and interpretation.



  • Support line managers with external and internal pay benchmarking for new posts or progression. Ensure inline with job families.

  • Support delivery of training and development activities, through researching training providers. Ensure all training logged on HR system for effective reporting


Key competencies:




  • Experience of implementing, improving and developing effective and efficient administrative solutions



  • Understand Data Protection principles and the practices involved in managing and accessing confidential personal information



  • An understanding of Employment law is desirable



  • Strong IT skills with the ability to manipulate data



  • Experience of working within an HR Team is desirable



  • CIPD level 3
