My client, a Government Agency dedicated to the pension regulations space, is looking for an HR Data Analyst to join them on a permanent basis.

Job purpose
The purpose of this role is to work with the People directorate to design, deliver and maintain high-quality, and insightful HR MI. The successful candidate will have experience in designing, socialising, and implementing a detailed HR MI strategy.

* Design, deliver and continually improve the HR MI processes, ensuring that all MI activity is aligned to our ED&I principles and People and Culture strategy.
* Accountable for the delivery of all data relating to regular and ad hoc HR reporting requirements both internally and externally.
* To work in partnership and collegiately across the whole People Directorate to drive credibility with the business and deliver an excellent customer experience to all TPR people.
* Working closely with the HR management team, to proactively design and deliver innovative solutions to the production and use of HR metrics and analytics, providing them with the analysis they need to do this.
* Keep abreast of developments in the HR data field and use this knowledge to drive business decisions.
* Accountable for escalating specific, unknown requirements or challenges to the relevant HR business area.
* Accountable for driving forward innovative solutions relating to HR data and MI with support and guidance from the HR management team.
* Accountable for the delivery of BAU reporting requirements delivered by the MI and Systems Administrator.
* Providing support, guidance, and advice to Exco and the Director of People and Culture, and the senior teams across the organisation, on all MI and HR data matters.

* Experience using systems and tools such as PowerBI, SQL, Python, and other analysis and development tools.
* Experience in working with HR systems e.g. ITrent and Business Objects, as well as managing and reporting on large volumes of data, particularly in Excel.
* Experience in working across the Microsoft office suite and MI applications is a must. Database experience can include Excel, Access, and Visio. Strong knowledge and experience in using engaging narrative to communicate the best practice use of HR data to the business.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills be able to explain the advantages of complex HR data-led solutions, as well as being able to present to a wide range of stakeholders to guide business-critical decisions.
* Experience in embedding HR dashboard reporting, analysing the data, highlighting key areas, and predicting trends for discussion.

The post holders would be required to attend the office in Brighton on a flexible working.
