An exciting opportunity has arisen for a HR Information Systems and Change Manager to join a public sector organisation based in East London.

The successful candidate will have good technical knowledge and expertise of HR/OD systems and a systems design improvement specialist, able to bring in knowledge of HR terms and conditions and employment processes and excellent stakeholder engagement.

The service is supporting the organisation's Covid-19 response, implementing a new HR/OD transformation blueprint, new HR/OD systems, and continue to support 2500 employees, and over 4000 staff in schools and 150 in external companies.

This role is remote working role.

Key duties:

  • People and budget management of a small team (2 staff)

  • Professional and technical knowledge of Oracle R12 HR and Payroll

  • Organisational design for structures in Oracle

  • Report writing using OBIE report writer (ability to update, edit and create dashboard content from the OBIE warehouse)

  • Understand the structure and datasets within EBS of the core application for both HR and payroll

  • Ensure the ongoing technical support for other members of the HR/OD team to ensure that R12 can continue to be developed and problems fixed

  • Key liaison with the Oracle Support Team

  • Microsoft 365 and SharePoint HR subject matter expert; site, page, structures, lists, libraries and document sets; site owner; workflow technical expert; Power BI expert knowledge; intranet design

  • Report management and analysis

  • Technical knowledge of report writing (data)

  • Statistical returns and analysis

  • TUPE reporting

  • Oversee the production of sickness, agency and E&D reports

  • Oversee production of reports for boards and ensure that reports are produced on time

  • Covid-19 reporting

  • Presenting on how to use Oracle including dashboards to wide group of stakeholders
