Our client who are a regulator for the optical professions in the UK are currently recruiting for a HR Manager, salary £40,044 - £47,109, start ASAP, duration 12 months, hours Mon-Fri working 34.75 hours a week, this is a remote working role with the occasional travel to London.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a small HR Team that is leading on delivery of a number of high-profile projects.

  • Your primary responsibilities will be for delivery of five key HR projects for the organisation, as part of a larger organisation wide programme of change.

  • Your responsibilities mean you'll be at the centre of delivering our People Programme, and as project manager you'll ensure there is effective project development, coordination and reporting.

  • The size of the team and the varied nature of the role means you'll also need to regularly assist with the management of all core HR functions, including payroll, employee relations, HR admin, learning and development, recruitment, employee engagement, and maintaining and improving HR systems, whilst taking an active role in supporting the HR team in BAU activities as required.

  • You'll be a visible and persuasive leader representing the Human Resources team both internally and externally
