HR Officer

Our client, a unique law enforcement organisation which both investigate and prosecute the most serious economic crime. They are looking to recruit a HR Officer to help focus on tackling the most serious, complex and high profile economic crime (top tier fraud, bribery and corruption.

They currently employ around 410 staff including lawyers, investigators and administrators and work closely with colleagues across the sector and the criminal justice system at home and abroad.

  • Pay: £12.30 per hour

  • Hours: Monday to Friday - 36 hours

  • Type: Temporary

  • Duration: 3 Months

  • Start Date: ASAP (Pending Vetting)

Due to the client involved a vetting period will be involved prior to start which will be discussed with successful candidates.

Job Description:


Dealing with all finance administration queries in a timely manner e.g. raising purchase orders, reimbursements and updating the expenditure log in accordance with internal processes and audit requirements.


Managing the administration process for development, induction training and other training including inviting delegates and collating attendance records, printing the course material, preparing the training register, setting up the training room and collating the feedback.


Working with colleagues to assist with the management of campaigns and taking responsibility for tasking including:

  • booking of diary dates for panel members and booking rooms for sift and interviews;

  • Sending out interview invites to successful applicants and also rejection letters using standard templates;

  • Creating interview timetable and packs, and ensuring interview panel receive this at least 48 hours before interview date;

  • Providing support on interview days to ensure a professional and efficient process is delivered including administering tests, meeting and greeting candidates and taking photocopies of relevant paperwork.

Other ad hoc related tasks including:

  • Maintaining records and systems accurately and in accordance with agreed timing and processes.

  • Assisting with on-boarding of new starters

  • Assisting and supporting the team with other HR related administrative tasks as required.
