HR & Recruitment Assistant


Monday to Friday

Based near Kings Cross, London (flexibility to work from home one day per week)

My client is a fast growing, leading global management consultancy working with Governments, Federations and Corporates. They are currently strengthening their internal operations and are now seeking an experienced ""HR & Recruitment Assistant"

Responsibilities - HR process, policies and procedures

You will support the Global HR Manager in the following:

  1. HR processes for all personnel and contractors globally:

  • Manage employee offer letters and create, manage and maintain employee contracts

  • Undertake required pre-employment checks (including references as above)

  • Complete all new starter paperwork and provide all relevant information to Payroll

  • Set up overall on-boarding process for all new staff (e.g., brief everyone involved, draft announcement email, etc.)

  • Conduct benefits and administrative induction for all new starters

  • Manage the "end of probation" process

  • Maintain all employee data, records and reports within the PeopleHR system from arrival to departure

  • Manage office transfers and secondments

  • Manage contracts and HR support for contractors/freelancers

  • Monitor sickness absence and holiday processes via PeopleHR

  • Handle maternity, paternity and parental leave administration processes and ensure that associated payroll processes are completed

Responsibilities - Recruiting

You will work closely with the Global HR & recruiting manager with the following:

  1. Sourcing

  • Create and publish job ads in various portals

  1. Campaign set up and screening

  • Set up each new campaign in ATS

  • Help screen all incoming CV's for BA/Intern roles for autumn & spring graduate recruitment campaigns in all regions; select for screening calls and complete tracker in ATS

  • Help screen incoming CV's for Experienced Hire roles from head-hunters, MMO, LinkedIn or direct; select interesting ones for screening call and put on ATS

  • Administer online tests (where relevant) for candidates with successful CV's

  • Organise screening calls & PPT tests to be conducted by the lead consultant

  • Keep ATS tracker up to date for all candidates through the screening process

  1. Interview process

  • Oversee set up of interviews for all campaigns globally -i.e., booking of rooms, identifying interviewers, coordinating diaries, etc.

  • Send CV's and candidate details to interviewers before interview days

  • Ensure completion of candidate assessment forms by interviewers

  • Ensure correct running of decision meeting and record outcomes

  1. Manage outcomes

  • Prepare offer letters/contracts for successful candidates

  • Ensure collection of references for all candidates

  • Transfer to "Employee" status in ATS

What we are looking for:

  • Proven experience as a Recruitment Specialist, Recruiter or similar role on an international scale

  • Hands-on experience job sites/university careers job boards

  • Knowledge of sourcing techniques LinkedIn (experience in using LinkedIn Recruiter seat)

  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Good written and verbal communications skills
