On behalf of ENCIRC, Adecco are recruiting for HR Shared Service Team Leader to join the ever-growing, highly successful manufacturing plant in Elton, Chester.

Main Responsibilities

The HRSS Team Leader will effectively manage the HR Shared Services (HRSS) team and be responsible for delivering a robust end-to-end HR administrative service. They will act as a key point of contact for HRSS and provide daily support, direction, and guidance to the team.

HR Shared Services (HRSS) activities:

  • Employee onboarding - offers, contracts and pre-employment screening

  • Processing changes to terms and conditions

  • Processing leaver information

  • Updating payroll with any pay-related information within specified timeframes

  • HR reports and dashboards to relevant stakeholders

  • Employee benefits administration

  • Maternity/paternity/family leave administration

  • Monitoring of time evaluation tasks

  • Manager training in HR/Payroll system

  • Employment and mortgage references

  • Processing of purchase orders relating to HR-related expenditure

  • Support delivery of employee induction

  • Supports the provision of occupational health services

  • Align HRSS service to the payroll function and HR Operations team, ensuring their administrative support needs are met, understood, delivered consistently.

  • Supervise and motivate the HRSS team to deliver a customer-focused service. Conduct regular 1:1s, set individual and team targets and objectives, and manage performance effectively

  • Develop and maintain a suite of KPIs and SLAs to monitor team performance, identify continuous improvement opportunities, and measure response times to queries

The Ideal Candidate

Business Knowledge

  • Experience of working within a HR Department in a medium sized operation

  • Evidence of managing the delivery of administrative processes within a complex and customer-focused environment

  • Experience of developing KPIS and SLAs to enhance service delivery

  • Experience of working within manufacturing industry an advantage

Essential Functional / Technical Skills

  • Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills

  • Ability to effectively deal with multiple conflicting tight deadlines

  • Ability to provide a professional, flexible, and solution focused service to key stakeholders

  • High attention to detail

  • Ability to work with discretion, sensitivity and confidentially

  • Strong IT/computer skills - MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

  • Experience of using SAP HR or equivalent HR/payroll system

  • CIPD level 3 qualification, or equivalent experience
