Exciting opportunity for any HR/Recruitment Administrators looking for a new role!


Job Description: Our client is recruiting for a HR/Recruitment Administrator role in Uxbridge.


The right candidate will provide a comprehensive administration service to the HR Department, across HR, Recruitment and Payroll.



  • Job Title: HR/Recruitment Administrator (12 weeks)

  • Location: Uxbridge

  • Start Date: ASAP

  • Pay: £12.88-£14.03 p/hr

  • Shift Pattern: Mon-Fri | 9am-5pm


Duties:


RECRUITMENT



  • Assist the Recruitment Co-ordinators with advertisements and job descriptions

  • Deal with Recruitment voicemail and e-mail and incoming enquiries

  • Sending invitation to interview letters

  • Prepare interview packs, Book interview rooms and required equipment/hospitality

  • Short-listing and interviewing for some support vacancies, Give feedback to applicants

  • Prepare offer letters, regret letters and contracts of employment where necessary


NEW STARTERS/LEAVERS



  • Request references for new employees

  • Maintain an up-to-date spreadsheet of returns of references, occupational health checks, returned contracts of employment, Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks and track progress of these items for all prospective employees.

  • Issue new starter information. Process personal details and advise new starters of their induction training day. Send out on-line Induction to all new starters and ensure that signed contracts, job descriptions and post requisition forms are on all new starter files

  • Ensure all new starters and internal promotions are allocated a mentor and maintain the Mentoring spreadsheet.

  • Facilitate the on-boarding of Volunteers, Work Experience, Self-employed and External Agency staff. Ensuring relevant checks are carried out for and correct ID documents are on file

  • Implement any contract extensions and update Leaver information and process leaver forms



GENERAL HR



  • To be point of contact for all casual staff - answer queries

  • To ensure relevant information is provided by new casual and DBS and Barred List checks for are carried out for Casuals and DBS renewals are tracked and processed

  • Organise annual Flu clinic for all HCUC staff

  • Issue car park permits and re-order when necessary

  • Oversee the College Induction on Safeguarding and Equality & Diversity to ensure that it is completed by all new staff

  • Organise the Recruitment of the Summer Enrolment Casuals

  • Issue contracts and related Recruitment and Payroll forms to Summer Enrolment Casuals

  • Carry out DBS and Barred List checks for Summer Enrolment Casuals


PAYROLL



  • Process payroll forms and pass to payroll in a timely manner so that new casuals are authorised into payroll and can complete timesheets by payroll cut-off dates

  • Assist staff with queries on timesheets for Payroll and assist with Payroll queries.

  • Take an active part in the appraisal and mentoring processes.

  • Participate in College Open Days and Recruitment Events.


Requirements:



  • Strong admin

  • Organisational skills

  • Previous experience working in recruitment

  • Knowledge of ITRENT would be a real bonus

  • Open to attain a HR qualification i.e CIPD L3
